I have sent numerous communications to ATT regarding the viewing of PAC 12 sports(namely FOOOOTBALLLLLLLLLLLLLL) No answers. Yesterdays I fired off an e-mail to the CEO: randall.stephenson@att.com
Today, I received a telephone call from an ATT ex. I have the impression that they don't know what the PAC 12 is. What is really comical is that if you have visited the new Memorial stadium you will notice that one of the sponsers of CAL football is ATT...yes, ATT. If you are a Uverse subscriber fire off an e-mail--it can't hurt. GO BEARS...

Yeah, I'm about to get Comcast, if the equipment gets here. Otherwise DISH.

I now have ATT Uverse, and when I called asking about Pac12 Network, CSR said it was on ESPN GameDay. So, I knew better, said thanks, and hung up.

This begs the question: Is the Pac-12 network really negotiating with U Verse? If the response you got was in effect that they didn't know what you were talking about could that mean that there have been no talks? I find that hard to believe, and comments from the Pac-12 network to the effect that they are negotiating with ALL carriers make me wonder about the knowledge of the representative. Nevertheless, I wonder what is really going on. I have U Verse, Comcast is not an option, and I'm not crazy about switching to Dish. I am still hoping something will be worked out. At this point in time I don't think too highly of the Pac 12 network. Right now I stand to see less games than last year, when all the games except Presbyterian were televised (I have season tickets so I'm thinking primarily of the away games). If this continues into basketball and beyond I will be, understandably, less than pleased.

Uverse said they will see what type of response they get from the fans before they act. It is silly on their part(even though each team is not a top tier team), but look at their markets: California(North and South), Washington, Oregon, Utah, Colorado.

Thank you SO much for sharing the email address. With that information I just sent the following text/email: Randall,

I am writing this email to let you know of my total disgust at AT&T U-Verse's lack of carrying the Pac 12 Network, and to let you know of my intent to move to Dish Network.

I have spoken with U-Verse customer service reps numerous times. They not only don't seem to know what the Pac 12 network is, they are unable to give me any information about a timeline when AT&T will add the channels (National feed and all regional feeds).

The executives of AT&T have made themselves very insulated and inaccessible. So this email will have to serve as my communication in lieu of being able to talk with you or any other AT&T people. I have also made my feelings well known via social media and personal communication with other sports fans and sports bars who also share my desire to have the Pac 12 network channels.

I hate to have to do this, especially after promoting U-Verse to others because I felt the service was pretty reliable and the equipment was advantageous over other services. But AT&T has had plenty of time to provide these channels to PAC 12 fans (especially University of California fans), and the lack of progress toward having the channels, coupled with lack of information about any effort to obtain them exposes a lack of concern about the desires of current customers.

Sincerely,

cc: miscellaneous distribution

Just sent an email to Randall as well - tried to ask a question thru the contact us feature on the Uverse site but that was impossible. Virtual chart was no help either of course and it sounds like the real CSR folks have no clue as well after reading this thread.

I just wrote ATT also, so we will see what answer I get. Might be a bit late, I am hopefully getting Comcast, if the equipment ever arrives.

So someone from AT&T called me after I had emailed Randall. They said that they were adding training to their CSRs so that they would know about the Pac-12 Network.

She also directed me to the website below for which you can at least add a voice to which channels you want to see added to Uverse (Pac-12 is under the sports channels of course)

Doesn't mean that Uverse will add the Pac-12 Network anytime soon but at least my email didn't go into the ether.
