...does anyone know how I can record to my PC laptop? Do I buy an external TV tuner and hook up to my laptop?

When you play a popular team, usually a torrent goes up really fast.

All three USC games have been torrented, for example.

This is especially true for those of us abroad in places with not-so-hot Internet speeds. I greatly appreciate the torrents, but would be even better if they could be compressed to 1 GB or so. Is this possible (or easy)?

Apparently, playing a team like Cal does not inspire rapid uploading of torrents by fans of the opposing teams...
