Better question, would Tedford even care?

No Isi and CJ are both gone next year

Sounds like somebody needs a new screen name!

Isi and CJ are both seniors. Bigelow will be our starter next year. Period. Your head, man. Use it.

Exactly. Even if Tedford manages to stick around next year, he would be the guy.

Agree with the response. I wouldn't transfer if I were Bigelow. On the other hand, if I were Bigelow, don't expect me to help recruit any new talent. I'll display my talent for one single year here and I'm gone.

Not necessarily, particularly if Lasco is perceived as blocking better; nevertheless, BB certainly should be in the mix.

Actually - he makes a good point. Lasco will certainly get lots of reps and challenge for it.... But, no way Bigelow transfers.

Agreed . . . unless he is demoted (during spring or fall camp) to 3rd string. I think the prospect is unlikely (but then again I didn't think his 4 for 160 yard and two TD performance against OSU would get him a total of 4 carries over the next two games combined).

How many of the freshman WRs are asking themselves that question, regardless of who is QB next year?
How many recruits are dropping Cal down or off their lists?

Bigelow and Lasco are pretty analogous to Best and Vereen. Vereen was definitely the better blocker. Best started when healthy.

He would need a monster year. There are NFL-types who are going to want to see him take 2 years of pounding...not saying its impossible he goes, but he has a huge injury history over his head...

TedHead3...why don't you; a) get the kid to the ledge, and b) push him

We haven't seen enough of Lasco to know what he is. He had a nice run against an FCS team and that is it.

This question is absolutely absurd and incredibly idiotic. Dude already hasn't played enough, and he would have to sit out ANOTHER year for transferring.

In a perfect world, Cal finds a way to use both Lasco and Bigelow (maybe at the same time) like USC did with Lendale White and Reggie Bush.

Oregon seems to find a way to get all their playmakers some touches.

At Cal, it's one playmaker at a time and, therefore, highly predictable.

All he has shown right now is that he can run faster than most people when he is in the open. Can he run between the tackles? Can he pass block? Can he make people miss to get himself in the open? There is huge potential but between coming back from knee surgeries, and struggling to learn the playbook, he is not ready to be the starting TB next year.

If I Bigelow, people would have demanded Tedford be fired two years ago for recruiting a 5'9", 230 pound "athlete" with bad knees, a bad heart, arthritis, high blood pressure, ...

Did I miss something?
