How symmetrical is this: The East Bay in the guise of Cal and the Raiders are 1-3, while the West Bay with the Furds and the Niners are 3-1.

Solution to our problems...simply move Memorial Stadium across the Bay Bridge!

We tried that last year.

Also, currently from West to East--49ers, Cal, Raiders, Stanford

When 49ers move to Santa Clara, West to East--
Cal, Raiders, Stanford, 49ers.

Berkeley and Oakland are both west of Palo Alto.

This may sound ridiculous, but there is a spiritual explaination for this east bay vs. west bay phenomenon. Those who are familiar with eastern spirituality may have heard of vaastu. Vaastu is the Indian version of Fung Shui, which is Chinese. Vaastu is actually the precursor to Fung Shui. According to some of the main principals of vaastu having to do with the direction of slopes and the location of large natural bodies of water, the east bay shoreline cities have horrible vaastu. The S.F./Peninsula area is great vaastu as long as it is on the side facing the bay not the ocean.

People in Indian take this stuff very seriously, often relocating, as it affects all aspect of a persons well-being. The study of vaastu goes back to the ancient Rishis who also contributed much of the esoteric and sacred knowledge behind the Vedic and Hindu traditions. The Rishis (ancient Scientistists of the cosmic) spent thousands of years studying this area and developed it as a hard science.

Of course many other things contribute to a person's fate, especially their karma and their are fixes that can neutralize some of the negative effects of bad vaastu. But bad slope aspect and being east of a large body of water is pretty hard to fix.
