Great experience last night. I was really pleasantly surprised by the almost full house, and the team played through the whistle and played hard all night.
Parsing through it after the fact, there were obviously mistakes and things to work on. I'm not endorsing JT as being 'back' or any thing like that either.
But sh#t, that was a lot of fun. Electric crowd (at times... Work in progress), fired up team, no glaringly obvious bonehead coaching moves. And you know what... Maynard. I HATED the "me me me" pointing at this bicep crap earlier this year. But the dude took some bigtime hits last night, hung in there, and probably played his best game as a Bear.
None of this matters if we can't sustain this next week on the road, but for one night at least, Memorial was rocking again.
