Great experience last night. I was really pleasantly surprised by the almost full house, and the team played through the whistle and played hard all night.

Parsing through it after the fact, there were obviously mistakes and things to work on. I'm not endorsing JT as being 'back' or any thing like that either.

But sh#t, that was a lot of fun. Electric crowd (at times... Work in progress), fired up team, no glaringly obvious bonehead coaching moves. And you know what... Maynard. I HATED the "me me me" pointing at this bicep crap earlier this year. But the dude took some bigtime hits last night, hung in there, and probably played his best game as a Bear.

None of this matters if we can't sustain this next week on the road, but for one night at least, Memorial was rocking again.

It was the most fun I have had at a Cal games in years, just as a number of others have posted. There's nothing I love more than game atmospheres like last night's.

Yeah, what the HEAVEN was THAT, and where the h has it been!? Was great live atmosphere, players excited not frustrated, bunch of great plays, ZM couldn't miss, pressured and pocket collapsing but still got the pass off, runs had more of a surprise element, Jackson was flypaper all over the place, somebody was always in their QB's face, RB's were money, crowd loud, spectacle!

If we win at WSU, the Big Game will be stupid crazy...especially in the evening.
