Bearblast is a real pumper I think.....this game is anything but well played and coached...sure, we're ahead and that is great, but we should have 14 or so more points and actually tried to score with timeouts left.....

As opposed to how Washington, USC, Utah and UCLA lpoked today? I'll take 43-17 Cal over UCLA and a 24-10 3rd quarter lead on the road any day after starting 1-4

Osu only scored 17 on these guys. Our running game looks very good. Those picks were tips, Maynard has been solid, but throw to freshman a little, com on.

We did play well. Clearly superior to the Cougs in all phases. Doing well up in Pullman is not an easy thing.

Some of the guys trashing you were predicting we'd have trouble winning more than one game this year, just a couple weeks ago.

As the game went on Wazzoo was getting beat up and demoralized and our guys were teeing off on them. The refs felt sorry for them and gave them some questionable calls. After one play I saw a referee help a cougar up to his feet.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable rout. Cal is back on track after some tough breaks and unfortunate injuries early in the season. Also helps that some of our studly recent recruits are showing that they're ready for primetime. It's a sign of very good things to come.

Stanford will be a very tough opponent next week.
