I'm still a little confused; what problem did they say they fixed? Were they going to fix the breathalyzers, but you had another false positive so you feel they're still broken? Or they were going to stop the random stops? Ultimately the cop let you in to the stadium, so I'd think that would have been a positive outcome except that you then flipped off the world and the world took exception. What did they say that you found wasn't true? Genuinely curious.

sorry, I was using a little creative license.. since you weren't flipping off the cops specifically, by 'the world' I just meant that you were expressing your frustration in a general manner.

You should be proud of yourself for standing up for yourself. The cop should be ashamed of himself (I'm assuming it was a "he") for his petty vindictiveness and emotionally stunted power tripping. Unfortunately, it's all too common among law enforcement.

For all the grief you're getting here, I bet you thought you'd come on to the Stanford board. LOL. We're mostly a bunch of grumpy old men in a bad mood because we have a bad football team. That's why you're getting lectures on constitutional law and the pragmatism of swallowing your principles in the face of authority.
