who is going to lead the effort to fire Tedford and search for a new coach? You can hope for an announcement Monday but it's not going to happen. Cal is in deep trouble folks!

I hope she ends up in some horrible program if that happens. No one should take her after the JT contract fiasco, especially if she leaves this mess to someone else (although perhaps that will be preferable).

She should fire Tedford tomorrow. If she doesn't, she should be fired on Monday.

This is a concern. Sandy leaves and a University suit is left with the Tedford decision. I have no clue what the rumors are but don't want a bad situation to become even worse.

Calm down spanky...I'm with ya on JT but Sandy isn't nearly to blame as many here believe...donors had a lot to do with extensions and contracts etc....she simply signed on the dotted line.....we need some cohesion to find another coach in the next few months...

How could any school hire Sandy after such a train-wreck ending?

She got the facility. She got a lot of other things going well for Cal, except for football. If she jumps now is the time to do it.

There's still hope. I just heard she's putting the finishing touches on her offer to Tyronne Willingham. I think we'll be in great shape from here on out.

An executive can do a lot of things right, but if one thing turns out to be a colossal blunder, all the right things done cannot offset it.

Sandy's stock is now at rock bottom. Maybe the combination of JT's contract extension and the tricked up stadium pro forma was the only way the stadium redo would have been possible, but it has cast her as an incompetent financial manager and put her judgment in serious question. No AD can have that kind of thing on their resume and get another head job, at least in the next job.

The Olympic sports and, even to some extent BB, have thrived under her watch, but far fewer care about those things compared with the promises made re football and its theoretical carrying of the SHPC/Stadium nut.

She may appear to be collateral damage (if she leaves because of this), but may well have been an underlying principal.

She will hopefully learn from Tedford. Take the opportunity when you can. If Mike Garrett is an example of what happens when ADs wash out Sandy better jump now and run otherwise she may end up at some NAIA school in the backwoods of SEC country.

I said she should be fired on Monday if she doesn't fire Tedford on Sunday. If she allows Tedford to stay beyond Sunday, she doesnt have a clue.
