I'm sure just about any school in the country would welcome him with open arms. Who wouldn't want Bigelow as an offensive weapon on their team? It's sort of like that old movie One on One where Robbie Benson tells the coach at the end, "all the way up your ass with a red hot poker - I can play anywhere I want."

For the life of me, I don't understand why Cal fans say stuff like this. If he were standing in front of you would you encourage him to do that and if so, why?

Pappy....you need to take your Ambien and your false teeth out and call it a day.....Bigelow will get plenty of action next year with our new HC.

I say those words should never leave a cal fan's mind... the sheer thought of losing Bigelow is horrible

So, Cal gets a new coach and you want a back of Bigelow's talent to transfer out? Is that your idea of punishment for Tedford? You want to punish the whole program?

Big assumption that the UC is even going to fire him. Even the worst Negabears are reluctant to, but do admit, that the school is going to be hard pressed to fire him. It would be a PR nightmare - not for this board, but for the non die hard Bears fans.

If Tedford does in fact come back, then if I were Bigelow, I would transfer. Why not? You've got nothing to lose at this point - except another year.

GTFO. If this is what you want it's easier if you give up being a fan.

Even if JT is here next year Bigelow has a great shot at starting and if he can do what he is doing this year then he will turn heads all over the country just as Jahvid, Shane, Marshawn and DeSean did. Why give up a year of eligibility?

Honestly, given how little he plays and given our coaches' collective incompetence, Bigelow's transfer would make VERY little difference. We're hoping Tedford gets canned by the end of the year at the latest, but that's no guarantee. I will harbor no ill will to Bigelow if he were to decide to leave and join a program that is lead by someone who isn't completely asleep at the wheel.

Exactly. I mean, what are we saying here. We have all these posters saying they support the players. Don't boo the players. Don't talk bad about them.

But we have a guy who has explosive power and speed. Who is unspeakably not played in the game. So what - we then stop our support if we don't acknowledge his frustration that he is not being played?

If I were Bigelow, I'd transfer on principle. Don't want to play me? Jeff - you're back next year? Hmmm.....sorry but I think I've seen enough. Goodbye.

Please don't say this. We NEED him next year!
I'm telling you right now, if he stays healthy for whole year and is on the field for most of our plays and gets 20 to 25 carries as well as some receiving, he will be in a conversation for the Heisman. He is a special talent. He is the sole reason why I think we will surprise a lot of people and have a big season.
Go Bears! Go Brendan!

The sheer amount of idiocy that you people expound sometimes...

He has barely played in two years, and you want him to sit out another?

For the dumbest post of the year. No question that the failure to use Bigelow more has to be one of the major shortcomings of Tedford's tenure but for any Cal fan to suggest a major talent transfer is just unfathomable. Surely there is a more constructive way to vent your frustration.

Exactly. Even if Tedford was to survive, Isi and CJ will both be gone next year. He's also more than likely going to leave for the nfl after next year.
