It'll take a monumental defensive effort to hold Oregon to a measly 50-point output, especially considering that you have offense who can't hold onto the ball.

I think Chipster will have the 4th string in by the 2nd qtr. So it will be toned down to 58-3

Yeah, 50 would be if Cal plays well/is lucky.

My game summary prediction:

45-0 at the half
52-13 final without any Oregon starters in the second half. In a sad display, our team will celebrate when they get that 4th quarter TD against the third string.
In the post game, Tedford will talk about how they won the second half.

If Oregon's Prop 80 passes on Tuesday, their marijuana inititive and judging by the number of alleged pot smokers on the Ducks team. They could come into CMS High for the game. This could be a low scoring affair for Oregon, lets say under 60 points.

Oregon will actually probably have around 42-49 points in the second half, and then they take the gas off for the rest of the game unless we score several touchdowns.

I don't think I've ever felt a game was hopeless until now. Even those dominant SC teams looked like they could be beat. I'm going to say its 43-3 by halftime if we can avoid turnovers. UO always manages to get a 2 point conversion on us also hence the 43. CK calls off the dogs early in the 3rd and it winds up... say 57-17.

If Barner can rush for 321 yards and 5 TDs on 32 carries (Oregon rushed for a total of 426 yards) against the Trojan's 29th-ranked rushing defense in the nation, (which kept us to 77 total rushing yards), well there you go.

Biggest factor in Oregon's scoring is Cal's depleted and injury-ravaged defense. If not for that, I'm confident that Clancy would come up with a scheme to harass the Ducks and disrupt their timing, and maybe hold them below 50.

I thought that U$C did pretty well defensively, and they did an impressive job on offense, with both quick strikes and long drives. Even with that, the Ducks lit 'em up for 62.

Just because of the injuries & lack of a bye, the Bears play with heart, but the Ducks still have 45 at the half.

...and they pull Barner after 10 carries, max. He was completely spent.
