Are there any broadcasters who will regularly say that a college coach should be fired? Seems like it almost never happens, unless there is some kind of scandal surrounding the team.

With the proliferation of games on the tube, there are hordes of commentators finding employment who, while they may know football, know relatively little about some of the teams they're covering. Maybe they get a cram course from the SID but clearly their knowledge is pretty superficial. Then again, maybe they are contractually obligated to mouth a minimum number of platitudes about the teams/players/coaches. How often do you hear one of these guys say "he's one of the best (fill in the blank) in the country" whether describing a coach or player? When was the last time you heard one say "this team/coach/player sucks"?
