I don't think Ole Miss is cheating or anything nefarious.

They picked up some local kids that wanted to stay home and I believe one of them wanted to play with an older brother already on the Ole Miss team.

It's a weird set of circumstances in which the State of Mississippi produced a lot of top-ranked talent for a given year that had some sort of connection to Ole Miss....a set of circumstances that might be hard to duplicate again because their HC seems rather ho-hum and non-charismatic while their fanbase looks like it's full of drunk rednecks.

If they stay top-10 in recruiting beyond this quirky year, I would have to see it to believe it.

They had some connections with some of these recruits that they were able to play on... Nkemdiche's brother is already at Ole Miss. The #1 WR joins two of his high school teammates who were already at Ole Miss. the #1 OT is from Mississippi. Hugh Freeze and his staff did a good job using those connections.

Of course, if the also had boosters handing out bags of money it certainly wouldn't surprise anyone.
