I'll try to keep it short.

Before we all drown ourselves in Cal related sports coverage today, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you guys for reading and for all the support and everything. It's only BECAUSE of you guys that I'm doing this stuff in the first place. As far as being able to attend everything, I just got really lucky in regards to scheduling, but I love the program and I would've done it all again in a heartbeat, rest assured.

A couple of other notes before I wrap this up:

I do not know what I plan to do with writing, in regards to my future. I do know that the last month has helped make that something I'm considering more seriously than I ever have. I do still feel that my strengths lie outside of reporting though, and I'm posted some of that stuff around here before.

Chris and I have yet to figure out what my role will be in the fall - that will depend on what I end up doing during my year off - but I'm very, very sure that I'll be returning some capacity.

Sorry for the off-topic tweets. I do not anticipate that changing - mostly because I like to talk about a lot of stuff - although the frequency has dipped significantly. [That being said, feel free to unfollow until the fall or something.]

Can't say thanks enough or often enough.

I think I can speak for all east coast Bears that we really appreciated the work you did to make the open practices come alive: the tweets, photos and follow-up summaries.

You write very well, Nam, and that is a terrific ability for anything you choose to do in the future.

Not being able to be there, your eyes and words keep us all up to speed. Thanks so much for all your effort while freezing your fingers off giving that input. Good luck in future ventures.

Grey, we appreciated Nam's enthusiasm and dedication to posting and tweeting. Not all of us can make the practices so we really appreciate any football news. Getting students is a great idea because they're already on campus and don't have to fight traffic home and may even know some of the players.
