... are all offers equal, within a position as well as between position groups?
... if they want 3 and get them (including a 3* or two), then a 5*, after careful deliberation among multiple offers from quality academic/athletic schools wants Cal, does he then become the 4th, or is he out of luck and has to go to <ugh> furd.
And if he does verbal, that takes away from another position?
my conclusion: I haven't a clue and am very happy that we have a staff of coaches who recruit as a team and know how to struggle with these details.
As Moraga has pointed out in another thread, the 2014 class may be 17-20, so the recruiting meetings must be intense, especially if position coaches compete to fill their expectations/desires.
