Why would you want someone who's violated drug tests several times and was booted off a team?

He failed drug tests 3x. Don't know what the new or old policy at Cal states but it seems a little unlikely he'll come to Cal. My guess, a lower tier school that will let him play. New Mexico?

If drugs were his issue...coming to Cal wont help him out at all

Actually this was his 4th time. On the 4th you lose your scholarship. Seems like if you knew this and still did it, you really need some intervention. Threw a lot away on his habit. Cal does not want that

I think JT was a lot more forgiving with kids that had made a few mistakes.

always wondered why more guys who loved the purple didnt come to berkeley - cheap, easily accessible, and quality... and doesnt really seem like the police care nor do guys on the team ever get caught for it.... could be a recruiting tool.

Now open arms to kids that had issues but had not been released is a much longer list, and for the most part, JT used excellent discretion: For example, Kaffusi (who has been nothing but a quality guy), Johnson, Garrett, L. Jackson, and on and on. Tedford took a deeper look than to say not interested if a guy had a mistake or two. Did not mean this as an insult to Tedford. My impression is Sonny is essentially zero tolerance.

Send him to Oregon with that other loser colt lyerla.
