It is with mixed emotion that I reach my 1,000th post; at least I spread it over 14 years.
First, a joke.
A guy walks into a bar. And falls down.
My elementary school-aged daughter told me that one, which means that I now think it's funny. Don't feel obligated.
I remain amazed at how a simple 4 years at a school can leave such a mark. I've had some fair adventure since, but perhaps as my first ever true adventure my time at Cal remains a cherished gift and my memories grow fonder each year. Or maybe it's just aging.
Thanks to all of you who post here and make this community possible friend or foe. You are my vice.
