I waited almost the entire day for it to happen.
There were a lot of April Fool's Groaners that I suffered throughout the day;
nothing memorable or particularly clever.
Until I watched a new Episode of "Castle" on ABC at 10pm. Castle was having an Alfred Hitchcock - Rear Window episode while confined at home after a skiing accident. It was so well done that it wasn't until the show was over that I realized, I, (the audience) had been pranked. Maybe it was the late time slot before bedtime, but the last time I had been taken in so completely was when I saw the "Sting" in the theater, although the Kevin Hart story is a close second. (My familiarity with Fernley, Nevada made me extra gullible on that one).
I admit that last night for a whole hour; I had been played a 60 minute April Fool, and, better yet, when it was over, I enjoyed it. Hopefully I will catch the re-run of the episode; looking for some of the 'tells' that I missed while being thoroughly duped. For me, the best April Fool's entertainment in a long time; even when I knew I had been pranked; it took a few minutes for me to realize that it was April 1st. They got me good; kudos.
