One of the better designed additions to the campus in many a moon. Wish some of the academic facilities added in the sixties had come out this well. Why should it take forty plus years to learn how to do it right?

Literally beyond belief. Like seeing Dick Nixon hand out an award for ethical government. Or maybe watching Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan serving as the key note speakers at an Alcoholics Anonymous Conference. What a hypocritical piece of work this guy is.

Yeah, one of those temporary port o potties.

Bates talks about cleaning up Telegraph, and in the meantime his administration has let Shattuck now look like Telegraph. An absolutely epic fail politician.

The pdf was definitely worth a look. Berkeley is building some cool buildings recently with more housing to come.

Bates is just doing what any politician does, which is saying what he thinks will get him the most votes. During the CMS project approval/lawsuit he got the feeling that his voter base was largely against it, so he was too. Now that the construction is done and people have nothing to protest against, he can go ahead and say nice things about it.

So it goes. As was predicted way back when the whole fight began, the stadium update got built and everyone is generally fine with it. Probably not worth the fight, but this is Berkeley.
