You may not like this legislation, but I disagree with those who say all retroactive legislation is unfair.

I think the war crimes tribunals which judged Nazis based on legal definitions of genocide that were only adopted after the Holocaust were valid trials.

In the interest of the Bay Area, the PAC-12 and West Coast sports in general, I always root for Stanfurd unless a victory would be detrimental to Cal.

Given that the Big Game is no longer the last game of the season, what if a Stanford win helped the Bears clinch a division title? I'd say we'd have to root for them then.

OK, I will agree that, though it has never happened in 120 years, it is possible, that at some time in the future there will be a game where a Stanford victory will be good for Cal.
