News reports have noted that Coach Dykes has been seen around the Bay Area. How about some suggestions for the new Coach. Here are a few obscure places off the top of my head.

1. The Solano Avenue area of Berkeley.
2. The orignial Peet's at Walnut and Vine.
3. The Ky Ebright boathouse.
4. Fentons.

From Muir Beach, head north up the highway toward Stinson. When you get to the top of the first big hill , look behind to your left and there it is - at location of old WWII observation post. Spectacular view- probably 400 feet or so above the rocky shore below. On a clear day can see ships entering and leaving San Francisco Bay to the South. One of the most beautiful vistas on this earth.

By all accounts, Dykes has visited more areas of the Oakland and Berkeley than Tedford ever did.

(Although wouldn't the Grand Lake Farmers market be near his home?)

Dykes lives in Piedmont (Go Scots!) so he is into more things on the west side of the Tunnel than Tedford, who lived behind the gates in Blackhawk.

so I suggest he visit some of Shocky's posts about Bay Area courses.

IIRC Wiaf, a membership @ Claremont CC on Broadway in Otown was part of his contract. He can probably hit a bucket in the am or pm and still make the Dykes Family "training table" every night.

He definitely should take his girls to:

1. The Merry-Go-Round in Tilden Park
2. The Lawrence Hall of Science on Centennial...
