The former starter lost his job toward mid-year as he had spectacular success and very ordinary games. Still sad to see an athlete forced to retire early due to a freak weight lifting accident (torn pec tendon).

I tore my Pec in 1999 the same way getting ready for a Bench Competition in Okinawa. I continued on in the Army until few years ago. I never recovered from the injury, live in pain every day. Best of luck to him and hope his recovery goes better than mine.
