More interesting than the size of the shadow was what the shadow was clearly flying over...

It took this guy 20 years to write the first 5 novels. The odds that this guy croaks before he finishes the final 2 novels is not insignificant.

Season 4 looks awesome. HBO did a free preview this weekend and showed all of Season 1 so I'm rewatching it again. It's fun to watch it since I understand a lot of things now that went over my head the first time, not having read the books.

I'll have to subscribe again for season four. I'd never be able to wait for the dvds.

Some friends just download the torrent. They say it is usually available about 20 minutes after the East Coast airing.

I cancelled my cable subscription a few weeks ago. Pondering starting back up just for this series.

Season 4 is going to be amazing. Considering everything they have to pull from in the book, they would have to bend over backwards to make this season a disaster.
