They get pressure, but not quickly enough, especially since we don't have the ability to hold coverage for 8-10 seconds.

If Goff is our starting QB, I hope we at least wine 1 conference game. His passes have zero zip, like a taller version of Maynard.

And he got sacked when NW rushed 3? Long night guys. Take the early BART ride home ...

applying pass rush 8-10 into a play doesn't really count as a pass rush IMO unless we break their pocket and their QB is on the run.

Actually the OL was doing decent at first, but the mistake of putting in Khalfani and then Lasco now has us behind and you can see Northwestern blitzing a lot more. That's why I said we need a score. Until we start moving the ball again Northwestern will just pin their ears back and blitz like crazy.

the Northwestern QB outran Jalen Jefferson who is one of our faster LBs. This defense is SLOW!. If we are that slow, we are going to lose a lot of games.

Defense has been crap. Sack for a loss of 5 but poor tackling turns it into a first down.

yeah they were doing ok in the 1st drive, but that doesn't change the fact that the OL got owned on that sack play.

No pash rush and they are almost passing at will against our secondary....not liking what I'm seeing but as I said earlier today, I think we need time to gel on both sides of the ball.

Yes...our tackling is abysmal at times...takes 3 guys to bring a guy down....
