With 2 INT in crucial moments. Third TD was made possible by that crazy circus catch. 60% completion. Not even remotely close to being AG-like.
Goff's first INT was atrocious... he seems to have a knack for giving up a big INT at the worst time.
I'll give him a bit of a pass on his second pick... it was 4th down and a pick in the end zone was about the same as turning the ball over on downs anyway. I was at the game, so I didn't see the replays, but I'll check the TiVo later to see if there was anybody else open.
I thought he had a lot more time to throw today... I don't know if it was better line play by our shuffled OL or weak pass rush from Arizona. I was expecting more from him given the lesser pressure today.
I actually think Goff is pretty mobile and has pretty good pocket presence. I sometimes wish he would use his wheels and take off running, but he seems to prefer to climb the pocket and look for open receivers.
I like watching Goff play, and I think he's doing an OK job... I just wish he would be a little more accurate/consistent and cutdown on the turnovers.
I've also been impressed with his strength as odd as that may sound. His last TD today, he stood in the pocket and completed that 30yd pass while being hit. Other times he's made nice throws with guys hanging all over him. He is a bit of a gunslinger... harnessing/tempering this is key.
