40,000? yeah, right. Bet no more than 15,000 at KO. Place looked depleted.

It was a late arriving crowd, but there were definitely close to 40k in attendance I thought. I was surprised how "full" it was.
USC might not be challenging for national titles, but I think the allure of the weekender is still there. Its the last home game and they'll show up in force. I'm guessing we'll be north of 50k in the stadium... sometime in the 2nd quarter.

Students will show for USC. Fans/Alumni will show for USC. USC will show for USC. If we had 40k announced for Arizona, I can't imagine anything less than 53-55k announced and roughly 45k actually in the stadium.

SC will take over our stadium. It won't be like tOSU but they will have fans in places usually reserved for Cal fans :headbang

It'll be interesting to see the student turnout. Maybe you can give a tutorial on campus on how to beat the breathalyzer?

1. Don't get caught
2. Hollow binoculars, flasks stuffed into underwear and a lady friend's bra, visit to the stadium before hand to duct tape flasks under the seats you will be in...yawn, I could go on but I'm busy trolling Allbuffs right now. You should head over there. Fun stuff.

I sort of like having three rows in QQ all to myself. Maybe I can get myself one last tan before I turn pale white for the winter

Agreed. This drives me nuts. The last time SC was at Memorial was 4 years ago (the last "home" game was in SF at AT&T) and that seemed like an SC home game despite it being in Berkeley - Cal had released a bunch of unsold seats to SC, meaning the place was filled with SC fans, and their band was playing whenever we had the ball, right up to the snap. It's pretty pathetic when you let the opposing team's band do that in your stadium, and not cool that they did it.
