As I recall, Kline, while a HS AA played in the N.Cal championship game against DLS. The Spartans were just a much better team at nearly every position, and Kline could not save his team. I was looking forward to watching Zach play, but did not think he was all that great on that day. I got pummeled on this board. Football is not a one man game. It requires a solid team to win regularly.

DLS is / was a much better team for sure. As I recall, they have an advantage over other schools like SRV with respect to territory covered, students / players available...

Zach, against that D, did not do all that well throwing for 19/36, 300 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT's. Yards / attempt over 8 though.
