Everyone has probably already heard about the comments that Packer offensive lineman Josh Sitton has made about the Lions. The teams meet tomorrow in Detroit. He called the Lions "scumbags and dirtbags," because they play dirty. He also mentioned something that the Packer Oline must do to prevent the dirty play. I thought it was appropriate for our Oline to remember in 2014.

"Sitton was asked what the Packers could do to keep the Lions from being the aggressor when the two teams meet Thursday. He proceeded to put a lot of pressure on him and the other members of the offensive line."

"It's all about attitude," he said. "You have to take it to them before they take it to you. We have to set the tone of the game as an offensive line. I mean, we have to establish the line of scrimmage and that tempo and the attitude early in the game. We have to be the ones in charge and not let them take charge."

We should remember this particularly when we face Mr. Skov again next year!

Look at the footage, a coach was congratulating him after the dirty hit on Goff. Makes me sick!!!

I don't know what the final tally was but at one point during the Packers-Lions game the Packers O-line had given up six sacks. So much for the Packers setting the tone. It probably would've been a better idea for Sitton to keep his mouth shut and not spew out a bunch of blackboard material for the Lions.

I thought you were going to use Abe Lincoln's words:
This too shall pass.

Lots of weight lifting and eating right and doing it in earnest every day. Then after two years + you have a chance. Saying it or trying to do it the week (or even the year) of the game doesn't do squat. If our coaches can't instill that kind of attitude in the players and if they can't recruit players that have that sort of attitude nothing else will matter.
