Like Theo in Basketball, his very presence speaks volumes about the University. I would love to see him stay a few years.
It's also a great bridge between jt and sonny. This takes out some of the grumbling of jt era athletes. That had its own benefits.
In the last 4 games of 2008 in particular he was as dominant as I've ever seen a back.

Too early to say. Who knows if Jahvid will stay in coaching? Maybe he'll get his degree and do something else like broadcasting. This seems like an opportune filling given that he still needs to finish up his degree. If he stays with coaching I can see him following Gould to be RB coach at Davis.

I hope your job doesn't actually require you to write or otherwise communicate. I have my doubts that you ever actually attended Cal.
What does an assistant rb coach do? Probably.just a lot of under study work and playersupport.

+1 don't think he qualifies to be a GA.
Remains to be seen whether he has a talent for coaching, but great to see him return to campus to get a chance to finish his degree and to coach our RBs.

Bingo! The "F" is my mistake. Points scored on his past play as a Golden Bear, but a FG, not a TD. My bad. That would be Tyler Frederickson. I suppose that would be true for many kickers...

kind of a tangent but the GAs we do get, how do they get into grad school at Cal? I know we get admissions exceptions for undergrad for players but do we get them for GAs? Or did Akili Smith really have great grades?
Some grad programs have 3.0 GPA inimum but make exceptions case by case. Being an ex star and NFL athlete seems like an acceptable one.
