Also it's part of his persona/reputation (however real or acted it is) and it impacts the game play on the field (intimidation, getting in the player's head).

Congrats to the Seahawks fans. Niners had too many turnovers in the 4th quarter and did not deserve to win this one, though I'm glad it was competitive this time unlike the last couple of games up there.

This loss was on Kap and partly on the refs...too bad. Hope he improves his passing game next year..the kid is a play maker but makes too many questionable decisions at times or doesn't see the field...but he gave it a go for sure....

He was looking good on the last drive, and in part the last INT was simply a fantastic play by Sherman -- not many DBs can make that play.

That said, you have to question the decision to challenge him on a play like that. Crabtree was not REALLY open, and to throw a jump ball to Sherman's side is inviting trouble. With all three time outs in your pocket, there is no need to take a risk there.

He didn't play well in the 2nd half, a lot of very poor throws, and poor pocket presence. If the 9ers (or the Seahawks for that matter) had a very solid QB, they would totally dominate the NFL.
