He didn't play well in the 2nd half, a lot of very poor throws, and poor pocket presence. If the 9ers (or the Seahawks for that matter) had a very solid QB, they would totally dominate the NFL.

Yeah, though the problem is that those guys cost money and would mean they couldn't fill up the deep rosters that help them perform so well. Wilson and Kaepernick being cheap is part of the reason those teams are so stacked at other positions.

great game. im a niner fan but seattle is a tough, tough team. niners made key mistakes. jumping offside allowing wilson to throw the prayer to the endzone. that team deserved to win

Yes, a key play that probably won't get mentioned enough. I doubt Wilson throws the deep ball there if not for the offsides, because it was actually pretty well-covered and he usually doesn't take a chance like that.

next year, Kaep will get ~$18,000,000 per year (and will become incredibly overpaid as he can't be relied on to throw, but they can't not pay him either) and they can't afford everyone. other teams are licking their lips and poach the crap out of their roster. nfl windows can be pretty short.

No, but he's going to get it

It would take big balls and brains to not pay him big after he won four playoff games in his first two years as a starter. I don't think they have either.
