Sorry to post yet another thread with Sherman, but the SI.com article is pretty interesting. It talks about how both players were at furd under Harbaugh and are now under Carroll in Seattle and the differing coaching philosophies. It may be interesting for those who've followed the PAC over the years.

Not singling you out, but a big problem with this board is that there are too many threads on the same topic. Would be nice to have some mechanism to roll multiple threads into a bigger thread, which happens at other boards. Would make us look less furd obsesses, stop a lot of trolling/ attention grabbing posting, and actually steer the discussion in a more productive way. The big problem being that I think a lot of reasonable posters will make one or two responses, then a new thread pops up, and the discussion gets lead astray and after awhile there are only crazy heated arguments with no record of the decent ones. On many occasions it seems posters like to argue about things that have already been answered somewhere, often repeatedly.

I know this board is basically un-moderated, but I think it would really benefit from rolling these repeated conversions into one which is what other sports boards to. It's not censorship, just some organization.

Thanks for the article. Very interesting comparison of Harbaugh and PC. PC seems to have more fun with his players. Often see him laughing with them and giving them hugs and pats. I don't recall too many other instances where NFL players talked candidly about their coaches. Wonder if there is a players' code of silence or a league rule discouraging it.
