What would your old man do?
Now, do the opposite.

Opposite? As in hiring an OC to coach defense? DC to coach offense? I'm still a fan of tedford and am excited that he's back on his feet (not excited that we're still paying him). Wishing JT and Quinn the best of success - they were great Cal representatives.

If NFL is cool with nepotism then it is what it is. I'll let the EEO officers deal with that.

He is an intern. I doubt there are any limits on number of interns an NFL team can have. If a family member is willing to provide help with no compensation while learning from his dad, why not? It seems more like Quinn helping his old man out instead of JT showing favoritism to his son.

As to your other point, I am also a fan of JT and truly wish him the best. He brought some of my favorite memories as a fan of Cal football. He may have been burnt out at the end, but he made Cal football relevant again for awhile.

I'd love to intern for an NFL team. But yeah, it's a private business so they can do whatever they want.

It only takes a little research to know he didn't play QB

I though Quinn was a WR here at Cal?

I called him out on that. Turns out he is technically correct, there are three members of their staff with ties to UC Davis.

Happens all the time. There isn't anything to complain about.

Look at the Washington Redskins this past season (and before that, too): Mike Shanahan head coach, Kyle Shanahan offensive coordinator.

Is this how Lane Kiffen eventually became the HC of USC?

Nepotism is alive and well in the NFL.

Absolutely. He looked a decade older than his years toward the end, and I worried he had damaged his health. Good to see him looking 10 years younger. I think he just wore down. He was/is a top Cal Coach, worthy of mention with the greats.
