I'm afraid it would have taken a helluva lot more than CJ for Denver to have won this game. They were just awful in all phases of the game.

You got it. Denver lost the game on their first offensive snap and set the tone for the entire game. It only went further downhill from there.

Totally agree. I have rarely seen an NFL team so dominated in every respect of the game Super Bowl or not. Every Bronco player and fan is completely bewildered and embarrassed by the a**-kicking. It's rare to hear not one complaint about the officiating or game conditions.

What??? It's surprising that they even made it to the Super Bowl with all those terrible personnel decisions.

They should have signed Zach Maynard to back up Peyton. They certainly could have used his mobility.

Seattle just didn't renew his contract and that was way back in 2011. So they're two years removed from that and they didn't actually do the cutting. Therefore they weren't afflicted.

EDIT: Wonder why Green Bay hasn't been able to get back over the hump this year? It's cause they did Desmond Bishop wrong.

Of course they wouldn't have won, how do you expect those three guys to run the ball together, they'd just get in each other's way! :p

Watching Denver this year I'm not a big fan of Ball or Moreno, they get yards because of massive holes but seem to do nothing when they get to the second level. CJ only had a few carries this year outside of preseason but be looked good when he got the carries, he definitely carries a load when he runs. I'm hoping he gets a bigger part of the offense next year, it would be fun to have another cal player to watch on Sundays. I think hes going to be a good back in the NFL, I'm really excited for him.

Passing is great, but it appears a solid running and a good D still are a big part of winning football titles. Denver could very well let Moreno go as he is a free agent, move Montee Ball up to #1 and have CJ as their #2. Big off-season for CJ obviously.
