Personally I prefer Coke to Pepsi on MOST occasions.
BUT at Cal FB and BB and Rugby and Baseball and any other Cal function, I HATE holding a can or cup that is Red and White.
My hate of RED overcomes my preference for Coke.

For years I complained that the Memorial Stadium was strewen with red and white cups after a FB game. Personally at any tail-gate, I will provide Pepsi, Mountain Dew, 7-up, water -- no Coke.

[Yes i know that there is a small amount of red on the Pepsi can but it is less than 1/2 of the Pepsi circle which itself is less than 1/5 of the entire can. The dominant color on the Pepsi can is DARK BLUE.]

Coke is a little better but they're both way too sweet, and shouldn't be drunk regularly. I'd buy a version with half the sugar and no artificial sweeteners.

Some of you guys must have scorched your taste buds with too much alcohol in college. Pepsi is waaaaaaaay better than coke. So glad when Memorial wised up and switched to Pepsi. : )
