Congrats. His timing is perfect. By the time he enrolls I'm sure our main source of angst will be whether a true Bear fan should be willing to settle for yet another trip to the Rose Bowl or if only the National Championship is good enough for us.

Most of life is a bumpy ride.
As I have long told my kids, being a Cal fan is great training for life.
Lots of obstacles, a few sublime highs.
But you can't give up and you must just keep on trying.
Don't let life get you down.
Keep an optimistic spirit in adversity.
Pick yourself up and get back on that horse
