The Montclair location was a franchise that got cut off because they deviated from the Top Dog system(substituted another bun that was horrible as an example)

The Longs Drugs location was very cool, good parking and the owners wife worked there for a long time.

There was a downtown location near 12th st BART, don't think it lasted very long

Yes, Northside TD is gone, big bummer for anyone who parks on Northside. Really liked it, much easier to deal with than the southside. Although IIRC you could get the top dog sliced and put on a pizza, lol, by the successor to Northside TD.

Speaking of the devil, A-16 on College serves a hot dog pizza. Wasn't bad.

And while the store may be gone, the memories live on in the 270 Yelp reviews. Seems like the neighborhood residents loved that place.
