I like the kickoff coverage. The Bears are staying in their lanes and that means the return man doesn't have huge holes he can exploit. (of course it helps to have 12 players on the field.)

Big 10 ref crew. They never call Holding. At least that's what I've seen over the years. It's part of why the Big 10 sucks in bowl games. They end up with a crew from another conference and their O-line gets multiple holding penalties against them.

For anyone saying hey Northwestern isn't that good let's not get too excited, it is just the first half... just remember Cal is 1000-1 to win it all.. 1000-1.. we haven't beaten a FBS team in like 2 years!!

This is the best first half I have seen in the last 3 years!!!!

They have blitzed a bit. Got a 13 yard grounding penalty one time and the INT was caused by a blitzing DB pushing a blocker into the QB and preventing him from stepping into the throw.
