As someone commented... It would be bad business for a booster to promise something and then not deliver... First word will get around and people won't believe you and second the player won't keep quiet after being stiffed.

but when the player gets in trouble with the law multiple times, AND acts inappropriately online (saying Sandy Hook was a gov. conspiracy), it is so easy to discredit him.

Coke Lyerla is just a shill with zero credibility. Ducks everywhere have disowned his sorry ass. He damaged his credibility with the school shooting tweets, as well as being arrested for being a cokehead and screwing the team over early in the season with his sloppy play and off the field antics.
