Nice work berk. I'm assuming you've read the grantland article on MSU's defense, but if you haven't, stop what you are doing and read it now. Very interesting. Dovetails with your quarters discussion nicely, but added some interesting concepts that I had not heard of before, and I know your interests are predominately with the defense over the offense.

i wonder how things will looking around college football on sun couple big games .. hopefully we better be 2-0 and seems CAL could find its in good place if they keep taking care of business

at some point pac12 could take some hits .. but if CAL benefits so be it .. ill take a nock on the conference if we are 8-4

Thanks, Berk18. Really appreciate your showing each play 3 times (instead of once) so that we can more fully understand your analyses.

Excellent article as usual.

Which raises a critical question going forward:

Who is our best blocking RB?

VicE? Tre? KM? Lasco?

I love your blogs, but I don't always get a chance to read them in as much detail as I would like...

What exactly is meant by a "packaged play"?

The play known as "power", what is that, exactly?

How are the gaps lettered?

Thanks and Go Bears!
