Going to the Monterey Jazz Festivale this weekend, but will skip Saturday night to watch the Bears--any good bars in Monterey with the Pac-12 Network to watch the game?

down on cannery row there's a place (Sly McFly's I think), that has multiple screens and usually has a Cal game on. Ok food - although kinda tourista.

No, Sly's is not a tourist place, but a locals joint with live music and usually does not have a Cal game on. The best place to watch the Cal game is Knuckles, the sports bar at the Hyatt Regency. Many screens including personal screens in the side booths. I know the bartenders and will ask one to put the Cal game on one of the big screens, unless you get there before I do and ask him first. Another is Buffalo Wild Wings in Seaside with about a hundred screens and the Cal game is bound to be on. However, it's away from the nightlife of the Monterey Peninsula. If you want to go to Cannery Row, the Cannery Row Brew Company has tons of beers and just ask a bartender to switch one of the screens to the Cal game. Have a great time at the Jazz Festival.

Thanks for the advice. I may skip the Levi Stadium experience and watch Cal play Oregon from a bar in Monterey.

Well two of my favorite BIs (wait that sounded weird) are looking for sports bars carrying Pac-12 Networks within about 70 miles of each other (GMP in Cupertino and calumnus in Monterey) -- get this done fellas.

I always go to knuckles. There is a Buffalo Wild Wings in seaside too. Tap room at pebble.

The best sports bar in Monterey is Turn 12. Great service and the bartenders are very accommodating.
