I have to say, Hogan looked absolutely terrible. The color guy was not pulling any punches talking about him either.

It's surprising how anemic Stanfurd's offense is. Not crisp either, lots of issues with the playclock running down risking a delay of game or forcing a TO.

They have no O-line or running game and Hogan isn't all that effective. They can keep it close thanks to their defense, but it only takes one mistake for a team to get a 23 yard TD on 4th and 11 to score the winning TD.

They were ranked #1 in points allowed, but only #80 in points scored

yup....Hogan just is not that good at all....long wind up and all. Their offense is offensive plus when it rains, you never know what the hell can happen....I'd still love to have their defense regardless of what others say. Longest streak of games not allowing more than 30 points ain't bad,....hell, Cal has given up more points in the 2nd half last week than Furd has given up all season. I'd like just a little of that....oh, and suck it Shaw.

Just goes to show getting a decent QB, even in the Pac, is a dicey situation. Luck to who to Hogan? I really think you only get a truly good QB every 8-10 years.

Giving up lots of points but getting more than the opponent results in a WIN.
