Well, a statistical anomaly made that the wrong plan! I'm happy it did, though scary when the outlier is the only saving grace in a coaching decision. What an amazing game though... very happy it turned out the right way.

I admit, I was pissed off they didn't let them score with 1 minute and again with 40 seconds...so effin happy to be wrong.

We won in spite of playing against the odds.

We absolutely should have let them score. I'd much rather bank on forcing a 2-pt conversion and giving Goff the ball back with a minute left than hoping they shank a sub-30 yard field goal.

We got bailed out big time, must be the universe evening things out for the Arizona game.

That said, terrible clock management aside, I'm starting to develop some faith in Dykes & Co. If we can muster even an above-average defense and get a modicum of depth on the O-line, we are going to win a lot of games.
