Newsmax reports:

BALTIMORE (AP) Baltimore's top prosecutor announced criminal charges Friday against all six officers suspended after a man suffered a fatal spinal injury in police custody, saying "no one is above the law."
State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby declared that Freddie Gray's death was a homicide, his arrest was illegal, and his treatment in custody amounted to murder and manslaughter.

The guys neck was broken - it strikes me calling it a fatal spinal injury is politician speak. The whole thing sucks.

re: Marilyn Mosby...get use to her face, I think she's going to be the governor or senator from Maryland within 8 years. Very interesting profile in the NYT. She is from a 5th generation police family in Boston, but she said no one is above the law, and she's going to prove it. Think Kamela Harris with a serious law and order side.

And in other Baltimore news, Ray Lewis definitely had something to say to the rioters. Which I think might have had more effect had he not made this speech from his mansion.

Wonder if he ever found his white suit.

The Assistant Prosecutor of Detroit, Teana Walsh, posted the following on Facebook, shortly before she suddenly "retired".

"So I am watching the news in Baltimore and see large swarms of people throwing bricks, etc at police who are fleeing from their assaults ... 15 in the hospital already. Solution. Simple. Shoot em. Period. End of discussion. I don't care what causes the protestors to turn violent...what the 'they did it because' reason is...no way is this acceptable. Flipping disgusting."

Seems like the thought police won't let a hard working white woman speak her mind.

For details, Newsmax or Faux News.

Coming from a prosecutor, it shows incredibly bad decision making to post such a message on social media. She might as well have held a press conference, stood in front of a mike, and advocated her position.

There probably were outsiders later on, but the initial riots started with high school kids getting out of school. The flyers and social media instigators that called for "a purge", might have been professional agitators though.

Mother Jones is reporting that the cops prevented the school buses from picking up kids and stopped public transportation in the area, so the kids couldn't get a ride home. Why on earth would the cops do that so they'd have hundreds of kids milling around?

There's ALWAYS more to the story than we think.

I think they were trying to keep public transportation from taking people to the "announced" starting location of "the purge." The plan didn't work, and now they are being blamed. The disconnect of each report is huge. There's gotta be a lot more to it.

seems like getting kids home should not have been impeded ... alot of kids on way home with NO bus service were arrested not cause they were doing anything vs those that had no intentions to go home

Common sense is in short supply in virtually every human endeavor while incompetence, stupidity and greed run rampant. I must have 25 files on this desk and these tables and every one of the files proves my point. Like hey just for grins let's print some business cards and indicate this guy's title is " Jew Bstd " or lets issue a Certificate of Insurance and then claim it is a make believe or invisible Certificate when the insured business burns down. Or no we are turning down your site plan because it is not precisely to scale and does not indicate precise elevations - although the very same committee approved a site plan for a relative of a committee member that literally looks like you gave me two minutes, a box of crayons and a Big Chief tablet. Man is a mess .... but business is good.

She was essentials saying every person arrested in the area was guilty. Not a good position for someone who is supposed to look at the defendant and prosecute only those who were culpable of a crime.

Yeah, I would have fired her too. You can't do that as a prosecutor.
