Goff was awesome (autocorrect when straight to God) - got hurt and stayed in. Unbelievable throws - I was thinking that there was no way he could play up to all the hype this week - but he did it with toughness !!

He looked pretty good running away from the interview on the field after saying, "Go Bears!"

Tried to run the ball before securing the catch. A real Dumbo move. Just catch and drop to your knees - game over.

You obviously weren't watching the game. Goff was brilliant but he'd be the first to tell you this defense is considerably improved over the 2012-14 defenses.
Yes let's pray he's healthy - for his sake and the team's. Let's stop trashing the defense and get behind this team.
Go Bears!!

I am sure that the other P12 teams took note how Goff's injury stopped Cal's O in its tracks and how we had to keep playing a clearly handicapped Goff because we don't have a proven backup QB yet. It is telling that SD would not use Forrest for even one series in the 4th quarter against a tiring Texas D. They will undoubtedly be targeting our huge vulnerability from now on. I would like to see Luke moved back to QB for both insurance and his considerable O skills.

People comparing Goff to a Montana and Rogers and you want to pull him for the last clutch series of the game when he clearly was able to hit Stephen Anderson on the numbers for a first down? If Goff is questionable or a no go in Washington Forest is very able to run this offense.

Goff has the benefit of an offensive system that emphasizes throwing the ball and a great assortment of receivers. Now they have a decent running game too. Goff reminds me of Montana, but not quite the athlete Montana was - big difference in wheels between those two.

Yeah, he and the running game (o line contributed despite not being great on pass pro) won us this game. Despite being hurt he made the throw to Anderson, who also despite being a good player managed to drop it. Maybe nerves? It worked out this time, hopefully he makes the catch and puts the game away if that situation happens again.

The only negative about this game in my mind (other an the decade it took off my life) is that Goff isn't getting the recognition he deserves for another brilliant and gutsy performance (where by the way he broke an additional three Cal QB records)). He is the absolute man.
