In fairness, the HC of a "program that would have been ranked #1 if Kevin Reilly would have just gone down to the turf" hired a recruiting coordinator named Pierre Ingram at one point. It's sometimes hard to disentangle one's work competency from their home proclivities.

I was once dumb enough to laugh away implausible allegations that the Governor of Arkansas would be crazy enough to have a State Police Officer summon a woman he did not know to his hotel room, and then drop his trousers in front of her to expose himself and ask for oral sex. That's not a glass house situation. Was there any reason to think Ingram would engage in the activity he engaged in prior to his hire? I don't know, certainly not publicly known, though. Kiffen, on the other hand, has had these types of rumors following him since at least Knoxville.

You know who Lane Kiffin is right? There is a far greater chance these stories are true than not.

You know how this ends right? The OP talking about Kiffin coaching his ass off is spot on, Miami gets a new HC, Tosh gets promoted at Bama, and meanwhile on the west coast we're still bitter about missing the Rose Bowl yet again. Life isn't fair.
