After the play is over, Victor bears all his weight onto his elbow aimed at the exposed, helmet-less part of Lawler's head. He could have easily broken Lawler's jaw, on top of causing a concussion. Those who are connected, please make sure Larry Scott does his job.

The officials were right there. How could they have missed it? I think they were distracted by the flag that was thrown on the play. Thinking too much and not reacting to what's going on the field of play.

Pac12 refs continue to suck. Bad calls for and against in Austin and Seattle. Too distracted to review Enwere's non fumble, PI where Lawler was pushed, or catch this vicious, dangerous, illegal hit on Lawler.

Make up calls benefiting Cal (Lawler pushed off, Goff arguably fumbled) are nice but should not be (needed as) SOP.

They were right there for the pass Lawler when they stalled at the 1 when the db literally pushed him down when the ball was thrown to him.

How was that not PI and automatic 1st down?

I don't like what happened to Lawler but I think it unlikely the guy knew his helmet was off. I am not sure it makes any difference but I suspect it was more of the defense being told to punish the ball carrier.

Elbow to the back of the head is bad enough, but on top of that, he was down, helmet coming off. I had asked here yesterday if the Pac-12 would address this conduct this week... If SD must raise it, I hope he does.

EDIT / ADD: Just saw that SD is pursuing this with the conference, which is great.
