USC comes in flat after big win last week and turns ball over 3 times. Cal plays most inspired game of year coming off of disappointing outing at UCLA. To the surprise of almost everyone Bears corral Jackson and JuJu and run their way to a 35-31 win!

I hope I'm wrong but I'm getting a sinking feeling that we're going to see a carbon copy of last weeks game.

The thing that gives me comfort is that I believe this team is better than Utah and better than UW despite the **** performance last week. So the fact that SC beat Utah doesn't mean much imo. But on the flipside, the fact that UW beat SC also doesn't mean much since SC loses a game to one lesser team every season. I just hope the players don't **** their pants when SC comes out the tunnel like the last 12 years. If they can keep their pants clean in the beginning, I think we have a reasonable chance.

I hope I'm wrong, but $C will probably blow us out. My husband is more optimistic, but I just can't see our O-line or D-line holding up well against $C. On a somewhat related note, since our O-line doesn't seem capable of stopping any team with a semblance of a decent D-line, why haven't we resorted to cut blocks? (Not to be confused with chop blocks, of course).
