Wonder if there are other unspoken reasons he chose Cal over what is arguably the top college football schools in the country. I mean Treggs and Goff grew up loving Cal, I get that.

My wife's relatives all live in Hattiesburg. They were all talking about Jordan at a wedding back in October. He went to the same high school as all of my wife's second cousins. Bottom line .... The whole #1 public school thing. His mom loved the idea of him going to Berkeley for what its worth...

Evidently, Berkeley does mean something still in other parts of the U.S....
