Depends on how many grad transfers probably. We have 29 known departures. 30 if uluave goes in mission. Sonny said in a media bite that there may be more grad transfers

This really is the start of Dykes Phase II with that many departures.
However, the cupboard is fairly full ... students who understand UC Berkeley with solid athletics.

The funny thing about it is that Goff may not have ever started at Alabama.
I know that sounds strange but they like guys with more meat on them.
Plus Goff would have never gotten into a rhythm because he would have only thrown about 20 times a game.

Basically he doesn't mesh with their system.
Kiffin would have love him but that doesn't mean he would be able to use him they way he would have at $C.

I honestly don't even think Tedford could've developed and gotten the production out of Jared that this staff & system were able to.

Kind of why I'm not so worried about the future -- Tony & Sonny have always been able to develop & maximize production from the QB position.

Jared had one hell of a skillset / toolbox to work with + had the mindset and work ethic to reach a high level.

Goff would have been buried. at the bottom, in Tedford's 'seniority' system and would have gotten damn few, if any, practice reps.
Bridgford revealed the secret wherein he was the backup, and did not get even practice reps.
