Honestly, this is the problem with college admissions in the modern university - a complete lack of perspective and obsession for the trivial over the big picture.
Stanford - which claims to want only the most exceptional people and to strive for diversity - is requiring the SAT from a woman who has accomplished more in the real world than any other Furd student, all of the admissions staff, and most of the faculty. What light could her SAT score possibly shed on her admission qualifications? Either you want her for her unique life experience, leadership skills, and the symbolism of her message, or you don't.
This is just furd grandstanding. Her admission is a foregone conclusion - just like it was for Chelsea Clinton, Tiger Woods, Reese Witherspon, Fred Savage, and the other celebrities that have attended there with what I suspect were lower than typical academic qualifications.
